I remember when I read in COC of how they let Malawians be killed and tortured while allowing the Mexicans to buy fake military credentials. I was extremely disgusted, now to see Knorrs oath of alligence to the Us govt while not allowing Malawians the same ability, absolutely sickens me. I am absolutely sickined by this revelation. I have heard this all of my life. Today many witnesses are in financial difficulty like the other members of society. Only difference is that they still think the big A will take care of their debt. I have no doubt that something is going to happen to change things. But it is not as the watchtower society tells it. I am sure that pretty soon they too will be shocked at world events.

i was surprised that jehovah hadn't obeyed the superior command to bring the big 'a' as instructed to him by fred franz.

Yes I was. I remember people selling houses and pioneering and then in 1977 or so many of them left the org thru the back door. I preached 1975 with a vigor I thought of all the good people that would be dead soon. It makes me sick to see them trying to rekindle that kind of attitude again.
I doubt though that it will ever get back to that. I remember being at an elders meeting for the circuit around 1978,the question was raised about 1975 and no end as well as so many leaving. One guy pops up in back and says give em another date. Everyone began laughing. But that is exactly what they would like to do today if they thought they could get away with it.

Elder Missing 24 hours...
by sleepingbeauty ina brother i know of was made up as an elder only some mere 6 weeks ago.
out the blue he has gone total awol and has now been missing over 24 hours.
i wonder if the stress of becoming an elder at 27 yrs old got to him !!!

it seems like the same story on this board over and over--the husband, who also might be an elder, ms, etc.--starts having doubts and researching, aka miseryloveselders and franklin massey and others.
he starts to smell the coffee and realizes that this organization isn't what it claims to be.

I agree with madsweeney and others. When you are a male and elder etc you see so much more. I was right up there on the circuit and district level. I tried to tell my wife of some of the problems I have seen and having not seen things her answer is to wait on Jah. I do my best to keep working on her and it is going better but it is very slow and the slightest thing at all pushes her right back. Have faith your mate will see things in time but it is very slow. If you women that see the light were my wife I would be one happy guy. stuck in

Interestingly enough I have been reading a book by Robert lanza "Biocentrism" though I am 3/4 through it It has changed my thinking about many of the questions you have. Welcome. Your story is so typical. I feel so bad for you and other women. I can say that as an elder I never treated my wife like that. However there were many late nights and time away that I confess I did. I am glad that you have awakened and it seems in time to enjoy your life without the constraints of the borg. At least you have children! I never did because we could have them in the new system. Now I am in my 60s and other than my wife I feel that I have nothing.
But we all must make the best of what we have. Again be happy you have seen the light. stuck in
